Nevada Northern Railway Museum - Ely, NV
Photos from February 2007, featuring Nevada Northern steam locomotives 2-8-0 #93 (Alco built 1909) and 4-6-0 #40 (Baldwin built 1910) with freight and passenger trains. Since 1986, the Nevada Northern has operated tourist trains over the former copper mining railroad of the same name that built to Ely in 1906. At East Ely, the museum preserves an authentic steam-era shop complex with 66 buildings and structures including the original passenger station, freight depot, offices, engine house, machine shop, and coaling tower.
