Peale Tunnel (1884-1993)
Grassflat, Pennsylvania

This 1277-foot tunnel was built by the Beech Creek Railroad in 1884 which was subsequently leased to the New York Central in 1890. The route was abandoned by Conrail in 1993-94 and is now part of the Snow Show Rail-Trail.
